Sevruga (stellatus) – Country of Origin: Belgium/Germany
Sevruga tastes of the sea and wakame (edible seaweed). Often the preferred choice of caviar dealers around the world, due to its resemblance to wild caviar, it takes 8 to 9 years to produce Sevruga eggs.
This small, grey egg is packed with a delicious salty flavour that can linger longer on the palate than other caviar.
