King’s Fine Food were thrilled to be a part of the Easter selection this year for the MailOnline.

This year’s hot trend is savoury Easter eggs, but do you really want to trade a hunk of chocolate for cheese? SARAH RAINEY puts them to the test.

But while sweet-and-salty can make for a successful flavour combination, do you really want to tuck into cheese, pork or even caviar over your usual hunk of chocolate?

CREAMY WHITE CHOCOLATE CAVIAR

Pairing earthy-flavoured caviar with a white chocolate egg is said to enhance the creaminess of the chocolate.

I’m sceptical as seafood isn’t my favourite, but it’s delicious — even with my cheap-as-chips Milky Bar egg: the salty, tangy bubbles of caviar add flavour and texture, making the chocolate seem moreishly smoother. 5/5
