Yirgachefef espresso is grown in southern Ethiopia at an altitude of 2000M  and is a medium-bodied coffee with wonderful bright clean acidity.

Peter Kershaw is one of the few top coffee graders in the world. Roasting the coffee in a tiny village in Hertfordshire, he is a real master in the art of blending coffee. Many of London's top chefs consider his coffee to be the finest they have ever tasted. A Michelin star restaurant is in the process of listing this coffee, which is a new and exciting venture for King's.


Laura's good friend Peter Kershaw introduced her to his brother Charles Kershaw, who has been one of the leading coffee merchant/ blenders for over 25 years. . It was fascinating to meet Charles, who has 20 years' experience with world leading coffee dealer Mitsubishi Corporation, and to learn how to make good coffee i.e. not using boiling water and adding just the right amount of coffee.
