Laura met Princess Ann at the amalgamation of the Cross Roads and Princess Ann trust for carers at St James Palace.
Laura in the picture was discussing caviar with the princess.
Princess Anne informed Laura that she had tried caviar when she was in Kiev training for the Olympics, as not much else was avaliable other than caviar (or black jam) at the time.
Laura is on the fundrasing committee who are organising a dinner at the Ritz Casino on 1st May. She is also sponsoring the first course and a private caviar tasting for 8 people.
In the UK, there are 6 million carers and Laura was partically moved by a little boy who spoke at the event. His name was Harry and he is 13 years old (the same as Laura's son who is also called Harry!). He cares for his sister, who has cerebral palsy and is wheel chair bound. He also cares for his mother who has a crumbling spine. While Harry's friends are playing Xbox or the latest video games, Harry has to look after his family and do many different household chores.
The aim of this great chairty is to support the forgotten hero - all those who care for people with different disabilites.
