Amedei’s excellence boils down to the love of chocolate and vision of its founder, Cecilia Tessieri. Cecilia wanted to find the world's best cocoa bean so as to produce the world’s most exquisite chocolate. Due to her hard work, dedication and lengthy apprenticeships in Belgium, France and Germany, Cecilia Tessieri is the world’s first, and only, female Master Chocolatier.
Knowing that exceptional chocolate can only be produced by the close monitoring of every stage of the manufacturing process, Cecilia set out to ensure this at Amedei. Today, Amedei is the only Italian chocolate boutique to have complete supervision over its production processes from the cocoa bean to the finished product. This attention to detail and desire for excellence has paid off, earning Amedei the Chocolate Academy of London's prestigious "Golden Bean" Award in the "bean to bar" category for four consecutive years.
